"My friend and I happened upon this restaurant while looking for one that used to be in its place, but we were so happy with what we found! This is just a great little noodle house. Everything we ate was tasty and they had lots of vegetarian friendly options. I was particularly pleased that they had vegetarian dumplings. The food all seemed very healthy, too. The atmosphere was cozy, and the owners were extremely friendly. Check out this great new place!" Daily jolt, food guide

This is one of a series of new businesses that have been opening on Ives st. recently. It's a small noodle place that's pleasant enough to sit in, in terms of atmosphere. The service is still a little "new", but it will probably change over time. As for the food, they have a simple menu. It includes a few starters and salads. We tried the vegetarian dumplings in the pan-fried version. They also have pork dumplings, and both kinds can also be had steamed. The dumplings are large and plump, and make for a very satisfying starter or possibly even a light meal. The main portion of the menu is divided into two parts: noodles and clay-pot rice. In each case you can can choose the type of noodle/rice,the topping (beef, chicken, shrimp or vegetable), and which sauce. We had egg noodles with chicken and udon noodles with vegetables, both in a coconut curry sauce. We got two huge bowls of broth, with plenty of noodles and some toppings. They were quite good, although it would have been nice to have some tofu in the vegetarian version in order to get a balanced meal that includes some protein. Overall it's a nice, although not spectacular, place for a nice meal. Our one major critique is that we would have enjoyed having the option of stir-fried noodles in a rich sauce, rather than just noodles in broth.
